Only a handful of tables are available for reservations.

Timeframe for booking:  We typically do not accept same-day bookings.

The cut-off time is 11.00 am on the day.

Area of Booking within the Inn: Again due to the age and layout of the Inn we are unable to confirm which room your table will be situated in. Generally, the Coach House is used for all table bookings.

Ordering: App ordering for meals and drinks is used extensively at the Black Boy and some areas only operate on this basis (coach house). The alternative is to order at the bar counter with a table number.

Always order your table or group as one order or meals could come out at various times.

Party size: If the group consists of more than 8 persons, the software will convert it into an inquiry. Our back office will then review the request to determine if we can accommodate your group. If we can, a pre-authority link will be sent via email.

Please note that no payment will be taken unless a no-show occurs.

Wait time information: During regular trading days, we do not accept bookings after 6.00 pm due to the high demand for our services.

After this time, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellation policy: We accept cancellations (excluding prepaid Xmas meals) up until 11.00 am on the day.

Special arrangements: Xmas parties are handled differently.

You can submit a request online as mentioned earlier, but you will need to speak to our reception to confirm and prepay.
